MEET THE ARTIST: JONE MUTKA

Jone Mutka‘s exhibition Motions/Notions is on display at Gallery Aski 26.9.-7.10.2025. The artist can be seen at his exhibition on the last day of opening on Tuesday 7.10. from 17-18.

Jone Mutka (b. 1993) works with printmaking and installation. Mutka often creates works in collaboration with machines such as a laser cutter or a computer. At the core of his practice is information, and the different ways of storing, reproducing, transforming, or damaging it. He is currently completing his Master’s studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki. Mutka has participated in exhibitions in Finland as well as across Europe, Japan, and the United States. His works are included in the collections of the Finnish State and the Jyväskylä Art Museum.
