Learn the fundamentals of knife sharpening at Event Kitchen under the guidance of Michelin-starred chef Sasu Laukkonen. He is best known for his work at Helsinki’s restaurants Chef & Sommelier and Ora, both Michelin-starred. In recent years, Sasu has also become known for his work with knives, giving new life to old blades under the name ResQ Knives. Based on decades of kitchen experience and thousands of sharpened knives, this hands-on workshop will help you achieve the correct angle and a sharp, effective edge.
In the workshop you will:
– learn the basics of knife sharpening
– gain practical tips for knife maintenance
– sharpen your own knives with personal guidance

The price includes:
– a 30-minute introductory session
– guided sharpening practice
– a non-alcoholic welcome drink and light savoury snacks
All sharpening equipment will be provided, along with aprons for protection. Simply bring along a couple of knives to sharpen!
Wine and other beverages will be available for purchase during the course.
