Started in May 2024 CULTURHUB is a new and growing community, welcoming individual culture professionals and organization representatives to join the community as partners. We are open to new applications at any time and applications are processed bi-monthly.
Why? Response to a need, CULTURHUB is a direct answer on how to operate and navigate the digital transformation of culture. Our mission is to enable concrete results from networking with the community. Collaboration and co-creating are our key functions, where professionals can share their expertise, resources and best practices as part of the larger cultural ecosystem, which the community provides and CULTURHUB enchants.
CULTURHUB gives tools to explore digital productions and also their implementation to metaverse and virtual reality (VR). Virtual Art House, launching in metaverse June 1st, 2025 is a non-physical and fully digital culture center features several venues and stages for digital and virtual productions where CULTURHUB has also its dedicated non-physical space and where online co-residency extends into a virtual co-residency.
How? CULTURHUB co-residency and community act as a think tank, laboratory and incubator to directly start co-productions and find collaborations. CULTURHUB partners have a change test and experience the VIRTUAL ART HOUSE from beginning of february 2025 in beta-testing phase. Our community and network can help to reach for the right assets, insight and support to make it happen – prior experience of VR or metaverse is NOT required.

ART HOUSE TURKU promotes and supports cultural activities, the employment and business of art and culture professionals. Art House Turku is an attractive meeting place that combines different art forms in the heart of Turku’s Old Town, in the premises and courtyard of the old Rettig tobacco factory. Art House Turku works in cooperation with cultural operators, creative economy companies and commercial companies, as well as universities. This program is funded by NextGeneration EU.
