31.5.–30.6.2024
Tue-Sun 12-18

The opening on Thursday 30 May 2024 from 5 pm to 7 pm
The artists can be met at the opening and when the exhibition is hung on 27 – 28 May.

The exhibition speaks of homosexuality and firsthand emotions relating to it, but it also addresses attitudes and societal hostility towards gay people. The perspective spans a long period of time and geographically it extends from big cities to North Karelia. Visually rich, the exhibition makes the viewer confront difficult emotions of shame, but it also raises the joy of liberation from shame.
