Culturhub Community

CULTURHUB welcomes culture professionals and organization workers to apply to join the CULTURHUB community as partners. We are open to new applications at any time to grow the community.

Our first online residency is starting in September 2024 with selected partners from the first OPEN CALL. All community partners will have access to the results and a chance to comment the future of the community.

OPEN CALL #2 for the next CULTURHUB online residency will be announced in mid-September. All partners of the community can also apply for this residency and have a chance to initiate collaborations with these future residents.

OPEN CALL #2 will be focusing on co-productions in digital and VR+Metaverse environments with the goal of joining the production of a Biennial scale international cultural event in the summer 2025, which will include various cultural productions and events in physical, digital, and virtual platforms simultaneously.

Art House Turku is expanding to a digital culture center. (Virtual Art House, launching in metaverse 2025). Virtual Art House aims to feature several venues for digital and virtual productions and comes with possibility to expand and customise the virtual spaces for needs of the CULTURHUB community.

CULTURHUB is an open digital forum and community platform, which connects culture professionals and organization partners to share their expertise and resources. It is also an access point to reach out to curated Finnish partners: when you need a collaborator or a venue for your project, we have the network and insight to direct you to the best partner for any of your needs.

ART HOUSE TURKU promotes and supports cultural activities, the employment and business of art and culture professionals. Art House Turku is an attractive meeting place that combines different art forms in the heart of Turku’s Old Town, in the premises and courtyard of the old Rettig tobacco factory. Art House Turku works in cooperation with cultural operators, creative economy companies and commercial companies, as well as universities. This program is funded by NextGen EU.
