Pinkspiration – A unique Barbie exhibition arrives in Turku this May 

This summer, Turku offers a unique opportunity to dive into the enchanting world of Barbie dolls. Pinkspiration – The Barbie Exhibition will be on display at Art House Turku in the summer of 2025. The dolls featured in the exhibition are part of an extraordinary collection, including rare collector’s items, many of which will be exhibited in Finland for the first time. 
 
An exclusive invitation-only opening event will be held on May 8, 2025, and the exhibition will open to the public on May 9. It will be on display until August 3. 

This is not just an exhibition of toys but a glimpse into history, the evolution of fashion, and iconic moments in pop culture. Barbie dolls tell stories of strong women and men of their time, the brightest stars of cinema, and the most beloved styles of different decades.

The collection at Art House Turku is like a journey through time, allowing visitors to pause and admire the Hollywood glamour of past decades, celebrate strong historical figures, or revisit childhood playtime with nostalgic classic dolls. It is a tribute to style icons and characters who have shaped our culture and inspired generations.
