The joint Christmas exhibition of visual artists from Southwest Finland

Juldrömmar is the first group exhibition organized by Galleria Aski through an open call. Visual artists from Southwest Finland working in all kinds of contemporary art forms were invited to apply. The festive season exhibition features paintings, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, drawing, and photography.

The exhibition offers a delightful selection of local contemporary art that is sure to brighten the darkening winter days and evoke emotions, thoughts, and a festive spirit in its viewers! Welcome!

From the pool of applicants, the exhibition working group selected 31 artists to participate:

Sylvi Alin, Helena Detsch, Anna Ellmén, Saija Hairo, Matti Helenius, Marjatta Holma, Susanna Järvinen, Petra Kallio, Mira Kankaanranta, Milla Karppinen, Miika Karttunen, Janelin Kinnunen, Kaari Hilkka Könönen, Sanna Leinonen, Marjaana Markkula, Eliisa Määttälä, Kristiina Niemenrinne, Merja Pitkänen, Jaska Poikonen, Julia Pulkkinen, Inari Raaterova, Samu Raatikainen, Jani Rättyä, Sinikka Salmi, Taru Salonen, Krist Sergeeva, Meri-Pauliina Sundén, Minna Sjöholm, Henri Tuominen, Jirko Viljanen, and Olga Välimaa.

Galleria Aski is a free and independent exhibition space founded by the visual artists of Taiteen talo, located in the heart of the exceptionally diverse oasis of art and culture that is Turku’s Taiteen talo. Galleria Aski is operated by Rettigin kuvataiteilijat ry, which consists of 24 artists working at Art House Turku.
