Three children eating smoking cotton candy.

16.1.-8.3.2026
Exhibition opening on Thursday 15.1.2026 at 6-8 pm.

My exhibition stems from my observations of the world we live in: a
world where humanity ravages itself with hollow values and wars are
ignited by speeches of peace.

In my art I try to look at life as it really is — and share the results
with others. We often use veils of words or dishonest morality to
protect ourselves from what’s really going on. However, moments of
crisis can pierce through our defences and reveal the true essence of
life. When etiquette and empty rhetoric fall away, laws crumble and the
instinct for survival takes over ”the raw flesh of life” shows itself.

I try to dive into the depths of the human psyche, not in search of
surrealism, but to summon our truest qualities. I document the chaos and
irrationality that govern our existence. I think what we live in is a
kind of black comedy.

For me, painting is the best way to touch the core of our emotions and
to capture the metaphysics of irony and pain. By the means of painting —
with figurative images, with composition, lines, colors and spontaneity
— I hope I can uncover the naked truth of a human being who fights to
hide their primal greeds behind clothes and declarations. My paintings
are an invitation to the viewer to confront the grotesque world we
inhabit — a world we attempt to make sense of, but never fully can.
