13.–15.3. Photopolymer course
Course teacher Sara Manninen
Fri 6pm–8pm, Sat-Sun 10am–3pm

The course covers the different stages of photopolymer printing. Photopolymer printing is an art printing technique in which photographs can be transferred to a printing plate by exposure to light. The course involves making printing plates using UV-sensitive photopolymer film, which is laminated onto the surface of the printing plate. Digital image editing is not included in the course content. Photographs and drawings can be used as a starting point for the work. Participants bring their own image material printed on film. More detailed instructions on image material will be sent closer to the start of the course.
