Fre 6pm–8pm, Sat-Sun 10am–3pm

The course teaches the basics of monotype technique. We start with the basic idea of monotype and work from there. We create images by drawing and painting on offset plates. The tools we use include various sticks, brushes, papers, and fabrics. The plates are printed using a gravure press. In principle, any subject can be used. Miina Laine will also talk about her own working methods, her experience of the environment, and the use of memories as part of the working process.
