The Estonian Center of Southwest Finland

The Estonian Center of Southwest Finland is an association open to everyone who is interested in Estonia. The association’s primary goal is to promote Estonian culture and it organises exhibitions, concerts, folk dance performances, lectures, and other events that show Estonia’s diverse cultural heritage.The association actively works to strengthen cooperation between Finland and Estonia in the fields of culture, tourism, and networking. It provides information and practical assistance and serves as a meeting place. An important part of the association’s work is supporting the collaborative efforts of Estonians living in Finland, both locally in Turku and nationwide.

The office of the Estonian Center of Southwest Finland serves as the Honorary Consulate of Estonia in Turku and the Southwest Finland region. The Honorary Consulate issues passports and ID cards to Estonian citizens and provides advice as guidance point in Estonian.

The office is located on the second floor of the Brinkkala courtyard building. The building has steep stairs and no elevator. If necessary, you can conduct business at the front door or another agreed-upon accessible location—please call to make arrangements.
