Open art workshops at the WAM Kilta Gallery
- 11.01.2025–12.01.2025 12.00—15.00
WAM workshop space, 2 floor, Fire Station
Organiser: WAM
Open art workshops at the WAM Kilta Gallery workshop Sat–Sun 11.–12.1.2025 between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The open art workshops use varying techniques while drawing inspiration from the atmosphere, shapes and materials of Heini Aho’s Parting exhibition.
This time, we will examine the theme of parting through the exhibition’s title piece, which reflects a hair part made up of strings. In this workshop, we will use a string painting technique to create artworks, take a closer look at the symmetry created in the works and reflect on different perspectives for continuing the works.
The workshops are suitable for all ages. Workshops are in Finnish. No pre-registration.
The workshop is located next to the WAM Kilta Gallery in the courtyard of Art House Turku, Nunnankatu 4.
Note: the WAM Kilta Gallery workshop is not barrier-free.
Upcoming open art workshops:
11 and 12 January, Sat–Sun between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
25 and 26 January, Sat–Sun between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
