Gallery Aski, Office, door F1 and F2

I portray the unconscious through human skulls, snags and thickets in my oil paintings and drawings. In the works on display, I simultaneously depict the external landscape and the physical, internal space of a human.

The exhibition at Gallery Aski is my ninth solo exhibition.

Henri Tuominen completed his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts Helsinki in 2023 and his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Turku Arts Academy in 2019. His studies focused on painting. Tuominen’s work has been widely exhibited in Finland in both curated and juried exhibitions. In 2022, he was named Artist of the Year by the Turku Artists’ Association. Tuominen has worked in artist residencies at the Serlachius Museum and the Aboa Vetus Ars Nova Museum. His most recent solo exhibition was held at Galleria Huuto in the summer of 2025. Tuominen has taught painting and drawing for example at the Turku Arts Academy.
