Krist Sergeeva’s artistic work includes abstract paintings combining artistic work with documented pho-tography and professional practice. Sergeeva’s work is a kind of sublimation of her way of life, saturated with visual experiences, as images of nature and human culture.

She combines contemplation, recreation, and integration with nature in practice, a search for fundamen-tal similarities between man-made objects and natural creations.

She takes a holistic approach in choosing different materials, different techniques, and solutions for each image. For her, this is a way to create a transparent, natural connection between artistic work and senso-ry perception and nature itself.
Krist Sergeeva currently lives and works in Turku.
