The Path of Light is a light art spectacle arranged by the City of Turku. It consists of a great light event and seasonal lighting on display throughout the darkest winter season. The inspiration for the Path of Light was drawn from Turku itself, its stories, atmosphere and the surrounding landscapes.

The four-day event will feature an impressive selection of artworks by recognised international and Finnish artists, and a lot of additional entertainment. The works will be placed in the surroundings of the River Aura and in the Old Town area.
This year, the theme of the Path of Light event is: urban parks as event areas and oases for enhanced well-being. When it comes to urban parks, Turku is currently celebrating the 10-year anniversary of having joined the National Urban Parks network.
