The Critical Gallery’s August programme is rich: they bring Scottish film and media art produced by the Pollyanna queer cultural centre to Turku. In addition to the gallery’s own exhibition space, there will be a pop-up space at the Wiklund Centre throughout August. Note! In honour of Turku Pride, the Wiklund exhibition has been extended until 31 August 2024.

In the gallery’s own space, a film by Rhys Hollis and his team (Andrea Baker, Divine Tasinda, Kheanna Walker) called OMOS (2022) will be shown, and in the pop-up space at the Wiklund Centre, an interactive video work by Adam Castle & Davide Bugarin called Sore Throat / Magang Lalamunan (2023) will be shown.

Both works are produced by POLLYANNA in Edinburgh, Scotland.
