Welcome to the Night of the Arts singalong event in the courtyard of the House of Arts! Internationally renowned opera star Mika Kares together with pianist Tuukka Vähätalo invite you to join them for a concert where the audience is an integral part of the performance.
Since 2014 the singalong event, held in Eurajoki, has become a beloved tradition and in August this tradition will be brought to Turku. It offers the joy of singing, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds. The songs range from opera to pop, from musicals to children’s songs. There are familiar tunes and surprising gems that will challenge and inspire you to sing your heart out.
Mika Kares himself will be the lead singer, with whom each piece will be interpreted to the hilt and sung to its fullest. Together with Kares and Vähätalo, each participant will experience what it feels like to sing with great emotion and a full heart together with others.
This event is a shared moment where the power of singing creates a sense of community, warmth and shared experiences. You can come alone, with family or friends, and feel part of the group.
